The 2010 NFC North champions: Chicago Bears!
Last season Jay Cutler threw 26 td's, and 28 int's. We go 7-9, and don't make the playoffs. The Bears look like a joke. An average defense, and a terrible quarter back. Now we jump to 2010, coming in to this season we acquire Julius Peppers, Chris Harris, and Chester Taylor. We're picked to miss the playoffs at 7-9, and Jay to have another bad season. We also get Brian back from a season ending injury last season in week 1. We come into this season with a win over Detroit by a slim margin, and a lucky call at the end. A lot of skeptics after that game, but one week after we get a win in big D, and a huge Monday Night Football win over the divisional rival Packers. The Bears then went over a bumpy road by losing 3 out of 4, including losing to two losing teams (Redskins, Seahawks) Going into the bye week we were tied with the Packers for the division. We go into Buffalo and get a win, and that starts a 5 game winning streak. Including wins over the Vikings, Dolphins, and a big statement win over the Eagles.
We then have a match up at home against the very hot New England Patriots. We don't play Bear football in the snow, and get ran over. Setting up this Monday Night match up against the Minnesota Vikings, win and we're in. Showing our division dominance we win 40-14, and take the NFC North. It's been a long journey, seeing Jay and our defense grow. I made a vow to not buy a NFC North championship hat, but only a NFC Championship hat. We could do it, and I think we will.
