As the clock ticks to 0:00 on this Monday night game it shows us how much can change in just one season. Vikings not too long ago were a few good Brett Favre decisions away from a chance at the Superbowl. Vikings go to 5-8, and now play the Bears next week, but tonight is much bigger than just a big win for the Giants, and a season ending loss for the Vikings. It ends another era of great quarter backs. Brett Favre ends the streak at 297, and now they have to rely on two mediocre back up QB's. Chilly fired, Brett Favre questioned all year, injuries, and turnovers. What an interesting year for this Vikings squad.
Let's all hope we can bring the same fire this Giants team had this week into the Vikings match up next Monday night. I'm labeling this next game as a must win. We don't want to rely on that new York game to save us from falling out of the playoffs. I'm just glad we get the Vikings at this time, struggling, questioning, and playing bad football.
