Top ten NFL Week 15 story lines

  1. Matt Flynn almost upsets the super hot Pats on Sunday Night football. Putting up 27 points, and almost winning the game on the final drive.
  2. Jets rebound after two very bad weeks, and beat the AFC North leading Steelers in the Steel city.
  3. Lions win first game on the road in 26 weeks. Snapping the longest away-losing record the league has ever seen.
  4. Devin Hester breaks the NFL all time punt returns for touchdowns record with 14, as the Bears dismantle the Vikings on Monday night.
  5. Ravens vault themselves over the defending champ Saints in a close one at home
  6. Brett Favre decides he is up to play a game the day before the game starts. Gets in goes for a 64 yrd drive, and a touchdown.
  7. Seahawks, Rams, and 49ers all lose badly this week. NFC West champion will probably be 7-9, or 8-8 at best. 4-10 Cardinals are not out of the race yet, pathetic!
  8. Bears take the NFC North which no one believed they could do behind the arm of Jay Cutler, the head of Mike Martz, the defense of Lovie and Rod, and the special teams with Devin Hester.
  9. All the young QB's that started this week and performed (Matt Flynn, Joe Webb, John Skelton, Colt McCoy,...etc)
  10. Desean Jackson and the Eagles score 28 unanswered and pull of the miracle at the Meadowlands part II. A game for the ages, an instant classic!
